Issued for the convenience of brides-to-be, these stamps are intended for use on wedding invitations and reply cards, serving as “harbingers of celebrations to come, decked out with pretty pastels, festive florals, and commemorative cakes.”

In 2008, the Wedding Heart stamps of 2007 were reissued with higher denominations and different background colors.

The Wedding stamp was reissued in 2012 and 2013, with the denomination increased by one cent each time.

The 2014 Wedding stamps featured two popular designs from previous years.

The 2015 stamp program included a pair of new designs as well as some popular designs from previous years.  The stamps issued later in the year have a notable difference – they don’t have a denomination, but instead say “two ounce.”
